Zsofia & Alex // Kirby Cove San Francisco Engagement

It isn’t just the light at sunset that I’m attracted to, it’s that blue hour just after the sun goes down. It’s not a lot of time but my goodness, when that light gifts us with it’s brilliance, my most soft photographic places in my heart come alive. I love to experiment in all sorts of lighting situations but there is just something soft and tender about that light especially when it bounces off of the sea.

Zsofia, Alex and I met at Kirby Cove for their pre-wedding engagement session. We wandered down the windy round onto the sweetest little SF beach with a perfect view of the Golden Gate Bridge. They were a bit nervous but settled into adoring one another pretty darn quickly. That sweet connection and tenderness is always what I’m after.

So add deep tenderness to blue hour and you have magic. Enjoy <3
